The goldfinch, chardonneret in French, is a small songbird often seen in Mediterranean gardens. Its name became the name of our house.

Born in Cannes, Maison Chardonneret holds a simple belief: the simplest things deserve to be chosen with care.

Like a great coffee, a matcha tells the story of a terroir, a craft and precise gestures. We care about where it comes from, about the people who grow it, and about how it is made and prepared.

Maison Chardonneret brings together two sensibilities: the precision of Japanese tea and the easy art of living of the Riviera.
